We're upstairs in Mallika Towers on Shivaji Street here in T. Nagar. It is the second floor, number three, if you are looking for us. Most of the time it's just the sound of calculators and paper shuffling around the desks. Being a chartered accountant office means things get pretty hectic around March and when tax deadlines roll around, but we just get through it together. Even though the name says Coimbatore, this Chennai spot is where we spend our long days. The walk up to the second floor keeps us active since we spend so much time sitting down at computers. We handle the usual books and filings for people around the neighborhood and some from further out. Sometimes the traffic outside on the street is a bit much, but once you get inside, it’s just us working. We've been at this for a while now. It’s not a fancy place with leather chairs or anything like that. Just desks, files, and a few people who know their way around a balance sheet. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. If you drop by, you'll probably see stacks of folders everywhere because that's just how the work goes. We try to keep things organized but it is a busy life. That is basically who we are at Kns Associates. Just a local team doing the math and making sure the forms are right.
