KKG CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED

Down at 2/1007A in Ganesh Nagar 3rd Street is where we work. We are in Vettuvankeni, which is a bit of a different pace than the middle of Chennai. It is closer to the coast and feels a little more relaxed, though our work as KKG Construction Private Limited is still pretty intense. We are a construction firm, so we are always thinking about foundations, walls, and roofs. Our office is a simple building in a residential-feeling street. We have a lot of samples of tiles and bricks laying around. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just think about how to build things that won’t fall down. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on sites in Kancheepuram and the surrounding areas. We use simple English and we don’t try to confuse anyone with technical jargon unless it’s absolutely necessary for the build. It’s just us, a few guys who grew up around construction and decided to make a go of it ourselves. We work hard, we eat our lunch at our desks, and we try to get home at a decent hour. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We have been in this spot for a while and like the quietness of the street when we finally finish for the day.
