Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd.

Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. has an office in Aminjakarai, right on Nelson Manickam Road. We are on the 1st floor of Nelson Towers, which is at number 51. If you know Chennai, you know this road is almost always packed with traffic. Being on the first floor is good because we can see the street below, but it stays pretty busy inside too. We deal with oil engines and parts from here. It is more of an office setup than a factory. We have people handling sales, service calls, and all the logistics that come with moving heavy engines around. The building is an old landmark in the area, so most people don't have trouble finding us. We have several cabins and a small area where we keep some manuals and documents. It is not exactly a quiet place to work because the phones are always ringing. People call in asking for parts or wanting to know about engine maintenance. We just try to help them out and get the right information across. Sometimes we have meetings in the small conference room, but mostly it’s just us at our desks. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because of the Chennai heat outside. It’s just a regular office day for us, making sure the engine business keeps moving forward. We have a tea stall nearby where we usually go when things get a bit too hectic in the tower.
