King Fisher Clearing & Shipping Agencies is up on the 3rd floor of the building at No 158/325 Linghi Chetty Street. We are right in the Parrys area, which is always crowded and full of life. It is a bit of a climb up to the office, but it is where we have set ourselves up. We handle clearing and shipping tasks, which mostly involves a lot of paperwork and trips to different government offices nearby. The street outside is usually packed with people and carts, so it is never really quiet. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that are stuffed to the brim with folders. It is a busy little office. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees. Just a small group of us who know the ropes of the shipping business in this city. We spend a lot of time on the phone and trying to sort out various customs issues. It is not always glamorous work, and sometimes things get stuck, but we do our best to nudge them along.
