Our office is on Kamaraj Salai in Chennai, specifically at house numbers 110 and 111. It’s a warm part of the world, so the fans are always spinning at full speed here. Keld Ellentoft India has been operating from this location for quite some time now. We aren't in one of those high-rise glass buildings you see in the IT parks. It’s a more traditional setup on a regular street. The traffic on Kamaraj Salai can be quite intense during the morning rush. We have a few rooms dedicated to our engineering work and some space for the admin side of things. It’s often a bit noisy because of the buses passing by. Inside, there are stacks of technical drawings and project files everywhere. We try to stay organized, but when things get busy, the desks get covered. We mostly deal with industrial parts and gaskets, things that aren't very glamorous but are needed. Our staff has been with us for years, so we all know how the coffee machine works—or doesn't work sometimes. We don't have a big corporate culture. It's more about coming in, doing the hours, and making sure the clients get what they asked for. We usually go out for lunch at the local stalls nearby. It's a simple life here in Chennai, just focusing on the job at hand and making sure the bills are paid. We keep the doors open to let the air circulate.
