We operate Kavi EPC out of our office at Door No 17 in Kolathur. It’s on 7th Street in Poombuhar Nagar, which is a fairly quiet residential-turning-commercial pocket of Chennai. The address is a bit confusing because of the old and new numbers, so we usually tell people to look for the landmark nearby. Our day-to-day involves a lot of engineering and procurement tasks. EPC work is complicated, so there’s always something to organize, whether it's checking a material list or making sure a delivery is scheduled for a project site. We aren’t a huge corporation, just a group of people who know how to handle these types of contracts. The office is usually a bit messy with folders and samples of materials. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and we’ve learned that things rarely go exactly to plan, so we spend a lot of time fixing small issues before they become big ones. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on management. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we’re usually too busy working on the projects themselves. Chennai heat can be tough in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay focused on the tasks. It’s just how we run things here. We know the neighbors, and we know how to get things done in this part of the city without making a big scene.
