Kalyan Steel

Our place, Kalyan Steel, is at 254 on T H Road. We are in the Theradi area, specifically around Radhakrishnaan Nagar. T H Road is one of those streets that never seems to sleep, so there is always something going on outside our door. We have a lot of trucks pulling up to drop off loads of steel, and it can get a bit hectic trying to get everything unloaded and tucked away in the back. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack things up. It’s a lot of manual labor, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired and covered in a bit of grime. Radhakrishnaan Nagar is a busy neighborhood with a mix of homes and small workshops. We know the people living nearby and the other shop owners on this stretch of Theradi. Sometimes the traffic on T H Road makes it hard for people to stop, but we have our regulars who know exactly where to pull in. We don't bother with any big signs or bright lights. The address number 254 is painted on the wall, and that seems to work fine. It’s a straightforward shop where we do what needs to be done. We stay open through the heat and the rain, just keeping the business going like everyone else on this street. It gets loud and sweaty, but that is just part of the job when you work with steel in this part of town. Every week feels about the same as the last one.
