We've been here at 28 Madipakkam Road for quite some time now. People usually find us on the Bazaar Main Road. It’s busy around here, but we manage. We handle blue metals mostly. It’s heavy work, but that’s what we do day in and day out in Madipakkam. The trucks come and go all morning. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is part of the job when you deal with stone and construction stuff. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a yard where we keep the materials. Local builders know where to find us. We mostly just focus on getting the loads ready when someone asks. It isn't a complicated business, just moving rocks from one place to another. My family has been around this area for years. We see the same faces every week. If you're driving down towards the bazaar, you'll probably see our piles of stone. We try to keep things organized, though it gets messy when it rains. The ground gets muddy and the trucks struggle a bit. We just keep at it. People need these materials for their houses and roads. We are right here on the main road, so access is pretty easy for the bigger lorries. We don't do much talking, mostly just loading and weighing. That is how life goes here at K N S Blue Metals.
