Jupiter Surface Technologies

You can find Jupiter Surface Technologies at T-222 in the Sidco Women Industrial Park in Kattur, Thirumullaivoyal. We are right here in the Chennai area where the weather is almost always hot and humid. Our work involves surface treatments and various coatings for metal parts. It is a very hands-on process. The factory floor is full of tanks and chemical smells, which is just part of the job. We spend our days dipping parts and checking the finish to make sure it looks right. It’s not a clean job; our boots are usually a bit stained and we wear heavy-duty aprons. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while now. The industrial park is a busy place with lots of other small units around us, so there is a constant sound of machinery and trucks. We don't have a glossy website or anyone to do our advertising. People just know us in the trade. The office is just a small partitioned area where we handle the invoices and take phone calls. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so the chemical baths don't get ruined. It is a lot of hard work and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We just try to do a solid job on every batch of parts that comes through our doors.
