You can find us at Sundar Krishna Plaza on Luckmudoss Street. Our shop number is 10/8. It is a busy trading street, and it gets quite hot in the afternoons. We handle different kinds of metals here. It is mostly an office and a small storage space where we keep some samples. The main stock is usually kept elsewhere because this street is too narrow for big trucks. We have been working out of this plaza for a long time. It is a bit of a climb to get to us, but most of our regulars do not mind. We have some old fans that hum all day long to keep the heat away. The office is pretty simple—just some chairs, a couple of desks, and a lot of files. We spend a lot of time on the phone negotiating prices and checking on deliveries. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and talk until it comes back. We do not really believe in big marketing pushes. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. We know our metal, and we know our customers. That is about it. It is a local business, run by local people who have been in the trade for decades. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the ledger balances and the customers get what they need. It is a plain, honest way to make a living.
