You can find us at 4/29 on the 11th Cross Main Road in Balaji Nagar. We’ve been here for a while now, dealing with Jayalakshmi Steels & Cements. It’s a busy street and there’s always someone stopping by to ask about prices or delivery times. The warehouse is filled with iron rods and bags of cement stacked high. It’s a heavy environment. We spend a lot of time loading up small tempos and trucks that pull up right in front of the shop. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to get the vehicles out. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of the space is taken up by the materials. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a bit messy with papers and pens scattered around. The floor is concrete and usually has some sand on it. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here in Balaji Nagar. We know most of the contractors who work around this area by name. It’s just a daily routine of moving heavy stuff from one place to another. We try to be fair and just get the job done without any fuss. It's a simple way to earn a living. We keep our doors open six days a week and just hope for good weather so the cement stays dry.
