Jay Minerals

Our office is in the H.R. Complex on P.H. Road. It is an old building, and we are near the Panchaliamman Koil in Arumbakkam. It is a very busy part of Chennai. We deal with minerals and raw materials, so things can get a bit grimy. We are not a high-end corporate office with polished floors. It is more of a practical space where we handle orders and coordinate logistics for the trucks. The traffic on P.H. Road is quite something, especially in the evenings, so we have learned to plan our day around it. We have the new and old numbers on our address, which sometimes confuses people, but we have been here long enough that most locals know the spot. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the quality of the mineral batches coming in. It is just me and a few others running the show. We do not have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just sell what we have and try to be fair about it. Some days are long, especially when a shipment is delayed, but that is the nature of this trade. We like being in Arumbakkam. It feels like a real community.
