T. Nagar is always buzzing with people and traffic, so getting to our office at Geethalaya Apartments can be a bit of a challenge in the afternoons. We are right there on the ground floor, at A-1, which makes it easy to move things in and out. Neelakanda Mehtha Street is a narrow one, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our team spends a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on the price of steel and cement. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like the process of seeing something go from a drawing to a real structure. We started this company to stay busy with what we know best, which is building. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the day-to-day operations. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some paperwork done. We deal with the local authorities for permits, which can be a slow process, but we’ve learned to be patient. People in the neighborhood often stop by just to chat or ask about a project they saw us working on. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people what we can do and then we try our best to get it done on time. It’s a lot of coordination between the site and this office. It’s honest work, and we just keep at it every single day.
