J M G Steel Enterprises is situated at number 26 on Kamarajar Salai in Chindamani. We mostly deal with different kinds of steel products that people need for building things. Our shop is right on the main stretch, so it is easy to find if you are driving through Chindamani. We have stacks of pipes, rods, and sheets piled up. It is not the cleanest place because steel is heavy and messy to move around, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for a specific size of angle iron or a certain thickness of plate, and we have to go digging through the stacks to find it. It is mostly physical work. We have been here for a good while, and we know many of the local contractors who stop by. We do not use any fancy computer systems to track things; we mostly just remember what we have in stock. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually sit towards the back where it is a bit cooler. It is a straightforward business. We buy the steel and we sell it to people who are building houses or fixing up shops nearby. There is no complicated process to it.
