Ispat Industries

Ispat Industries is situated at Vvv Square No. 85 on Pantheon Road in Egmore. It’s a well-known part of the city, and the building has been around for a long time. It has that old-school feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings. Pantheon Road is always busy with shoppers and people going to the museum nearby. We are right in the middle of all that activity. Our office is a bit of a maze with different rooms connected by narrow hallways. We have a lot of old wooden furniture that has been here since we started. It’s not a modern workspace with open plans; it’s more partitioned and private. We spend our days handling the logistics of the steel business. There’s always a lot of paperwork to go through, and the phone seems to ring at the most inconvenient times. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though that means we also get the noise from the traffic outside. It’s a trade-off. We don't use any fancy management software; we mostly rely on ledgers and notes scribbled on pads. It works for us. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we’re more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We don't put on any airs. If you come by, you'll just see us working away at our desks in this old building in Egmore.
