We’re based at No. 76 on 6th Street in Chowdhary Nagar. Valasaravakkam is the area we call home for our business, Innovative Civil Engineering Solution Pvt. Ltd. It’s a fairly quiet street, which is good when we have to focus on technical drawings or engineering plans. Our office is a simple place, not some big glass building like you see in other parts of the city. We have our computers, some big tables for looking at blueprints, and a few coffee mugs scattered around. Most of the time, our boots are a bit dusty from being out at work sites, but this is where we handle the administrative side of things. People from the neighborhood often stop by to ask about construction or just to say hello. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture on 6th Street. We don't go in for big corporate mission statements or anything like that. We just know how to build things and solve engineering problems, and that’s what we do. Sometimes we’re here late into the evening when a deadline is coming up, and you can see the light from our window out on the street. It’s hard work, but we enjoy it. It’s just us, a small group of people trying to do a good job for the folks who hire us in Valasaravakkam.
