You can find us at 101 on the 4th main road in Chinmaya Nagar, which is part of the Sri Ayappa Nagar area in Virugambakkam. It’s a residential-feeling pocket but there's a fair bit of business happening if you know where to look. We work with chips and electronics here at Infochips, which means the office is usually full of small components and circuit boards that you’d probably trip over if you weren't careful. It’s a quiet sort of place compared to the main roads of Chennai. We spend a lot of time at our benches with soldering irons or staring at computer screens. We’ve been here in Virugambakkam for a good few years now. The neighborhood is okay, and we’ve got a routine that works for us. We aren't a big tech firm with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small team that knows our way around hardware. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit sluggish, but the work goes on regardless. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the technical side of things and try to keep the boards moving out the door. It’s a lot of focus and sometimes a bit of frustration when a trace doesn't go right, but that's just how it is. We like being in this part of town, away from the heaviest traffic, just doing our daily electronics work.
