You’ll find Indus Cruising & Shipping Pvt Ltd over in Nandanam. We are at No 2 on the second floor in West Cit Nagar, right on North Road. It’s a decent area, fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We spend our days dealing with ships and cargo schedules. It’s a lot of waiting for news from the ports. Our office is small but we make it work. We have a few computers and some maps on the wall. We aren't those corporate types with suits and ties every day. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the shipping logs. Sometimes the heat in Nandanam is quite something, but we have a couple of fans going. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of North Road. We’ve been here for a bit now. People in the shipping world know where to find us. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just handle the bookings and make sure the cargo gets where it's supposed to. It can be stressful when a ship is late, but that’s the nature of the sea. Indus Cruising & Shipping Pvt Ltd is just us trying to keep the wheels turning, or the propellers spinning, I guess. We take our lunch breaks together most days. It’s a simple life in the office and we just keep at it day after day.
