Indiana Steels

We have been at 189 Dr. Nanjappa Road for quite a long time now. Most people around here know this street is always busy with traffic, and we are right in the middle of all that noise. My father originally started this because he saw people needed basic steel supplies nearby. We do not do anything fancy in this office. We just manage the inventory and make sure the heavy stuff gets loaded onto the trucks without any trouble. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it really hard for our deliveries to get in or out on time, but we usually manage to figure it out. The building itself is getting a bit old, but it still does the job for us. We have a small crew working here. Usually, it is just two or three of us in the front office and the guys working out in the back. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to regular guys just looking for a few rods for a small home project. We do not have a big fancy showroom with lights. It is mostly just metal desks and tall stacks of paperwork. The floor gets dusty from the metal work, and there is always the sound of grinding or clanking coming from the yard. It is a noisy place, but that is just how it goes in this trade. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused throughout the day.
