Our place is at 205-1, Linghi Chetty Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know it’s one of those busy, narrow parts of town where there is always something going on. Iic Container Line Pvt. Ltd. operates from here, and we spend most of our time dealing with the shipping business. It’s a lot of coordination with the docks and making sure the container movements are logged correctly. The building isn't new, and the street outside is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. We have a lot of ledgers and computer screens that we stare at for most of the day. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get through the work. People stop by sometimes to drop off documents or ask about their shipments. It’s a very straightforward operation. We don’t go in for fancy decor or big signs. Most of our work is done through emails and phone calls anyway. Linghi Chetty Street has a lot of history with trading and shipping, so it feels right for us to be here. We’re just a bunch of regular employees making sure the cargo gets to where it’s supposed to go. It’s a lot of repetition, but we try to stay on top of the details as best as we can in this busy environment.
