We are located at B25 and 26 in the Sipcot Industrial Park. This is out in Irrungattukottai, which is part of the Kancheepuram District. It’s a massive industrial area with rows and rows of similar buildings. You see a lot of big factories and huge warehouses around here. Ihd Industries Pvt. Ltd. occupies these two specific units. It’s a lot of space, which we definitely need for all the materials and parts we handle. The park is quite far from the main city, so most of us spend a good amount of time every day traveling back and forth. The local canteen in the industrial park is where most people go if they want a quick meal. Our unit is mostly filled with heavy equipment and tall storage racks. It’s dusty and loud work sometimes, but that’s just the nature of being in an industrial park like this. We don't have any fancy carpets or expensive paintings on the walls. It’s mostly just metal, concrete, and functional lighting. We focus on getting the daily orders out and making sure everything is where it should be. The sun can get really hot out here in Kancheepuram, so we try to get the heavy physical work done before the heat of the afternoon hits. It’s a no-nonsense environment for us. We are just regular workers doing our thing in a big industrial zone. Everyone knows the drill and we just get on with it.
