Ideal Computers

We have been sitting here at 8/4 Sivan Sannathi Street for a while now. Most days it’s just us and the computers in various states of repair. Thiruindhalur is a quiet enough place, but we stay busy with people bringing in laptops that won’t turn on or desktop towers that are making strange noises. The shop isn't very big, and we have parts and cables tucked into almost every corner. Sometimes someone comes in just looking for a specific cable or a mouse because theirs stopped working during an important task. We try to get things fixed as fast as we can, though some parts take a bit of time to arrive from the bigger cities. It’s mostly just hardware work and software installs. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a desk, some tools, and a lot of monitors. When the temple nearby is busy, the street gets crowded, but inside it’s usually just the sound of a cooling fan or a hard drive clicking. We’ve seen all sorts of problems over the years, from spilled tea on keyboards to machines that haven’t been cleaned in a decade. We just take them apart, see what’s wrong, and tell the owner what it’s going to take to fix it. People in Nagai know where to find us if their screen goes dark or if their internet isn't working right. It’s basic work, but it keeps us going every day.
