Hitesh Kumar

My name is Hitesh Kumar and I run things from No 10, Muthiah Mudhali Street. This is in Washermanpet, right near Pandian Theatre in the Old Washermanpet area. The pin code is Chennai 600021. It’s a very traditional part of the city and things can get quite cramped on these streets. I’ve been working out of this spot for some time now. It’s not a big company with many departments, it’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers handling the daily tasks. We are close to the old theatre, which everyone knows, so it’s a good landmark for meetings. The street is usually full of people and bikes, which is just how Washermanpet is. Inside the office, it’s mostly just files and a place to sit and talk. We don’t go for anything fancy here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. People from the neighborhood stop by often. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We handle whatever comes our way related to our trade. Most of the day is spent on the phone or writing down notes for projects. It’s a bit noisy with the street sounds coming in, but you get used to it. If you’re coming from the main road, just look for the turn toward Muthiah Mudhali Street and we’re right there at number 10.
