Hitech Engineering Co.

Hitech Engineering Co. is tucked away on the ground floor on Francis Joseph Street. You have to look for number 11, though the old numbering said number 4, which still confuses some delivery drivers. It's a bit of a maze around this part of town with all the small businesses. We spend our days working on different parts and machinery. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by lunch. It's noisy and can get a bit oily, but that's just how engineering shops are. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite some time now. The light isn't the best in the back of the shop, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing. We aren't a massive factory, just a few of us handling orders as they come in. Most people who come here are looking for very specific parts or need something adjusted. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just stand by the workbench while we talk. The street outside is always busy with people moving around and cars honking. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door when it's heavy, but we just put a bucket there and keep working. It’s a honest living. We take the work as it comes and try to do right by the people who hire us. The machines we use are quite old but we know how to keep them running well in this small space.
