Hansujaas

Hansujaas is our small place located on Pycrofts Road in Triplicane. We are right opposite the Poorvika Showroom, which makes it fairly easy for people to find us in this busy part of Chennai. Triplicane is an old area with a lot of history and very narrow, crowded streets. Our shop at No 46/20 has been here for a good while now. It is a very busy road with constant noise from the bikes, buses, and people walking by. Inside the shop, we just try to focus on the work at hand. We handle grooming for the men who live in the locality. The Chennai heat can be quite difficult to deal with, so we hope the shop provides a bit of a break for people coming in from the street. We aren't a big, fancy salon with many employees. It’s just a few of us here doing the work. We have seen many other shops open and close on Pycrofts Road, but we have managed to stay in the same spot. People come to us because they know we are reliable. We don't do anything very complicated. A regular haircut or a clean shave is what most people are looking for when they walk in. Sometimes we talk about the latest cricket match or the local weather while we work. It’s a real neighborhood spot. We keep our mirrors clean and our tools ready. Triplicane has changed over the years but Pycrofts Road stays as busy as ever. We like the noise and the people. It makes the day go by faster when you have folks to talk to.
