Our shop is located at No. 267/500 on Mint Street in Park Town. It’s a crowded area, but that’s just the way it is in this part of town. We deal mostly in metal goods, everything from small parts to larger sheets. The air inside always smells a bit like iron and copper. We have been here for a long time, and the building itself has seen better days, but it serves our purpose well enough. You’ll usually see us moving heavy loads in and out of the front door throughout the day. It can be a bit of a squeeze when a delivery truck arrives. We don't have many employees, just a core group that knows how to handle the materials properly. It's physical work and your hands stay dirty most of the shift. We don't really go in for fancy displays or anything like that. The products are stacked where they fit. Customers know they can just come in and ask for what they need. Sometimes we have to dig through a pile to find the right size of metal, but we get there eventually. Park Town is a busy place, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the weights are correct. It's a straightforward business and we like it that way. No fuss, just metal. We’ve been here since the nineties and we know the street well. It’s just how we make our living.
