Grind-Lap Machine Tools

Our shop, Grind-Lap Machine Tools, is located at No.7/17 on G.S.T. Road in St. Thomas Mount. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background while we work. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we mostly deal with various types of industrial tools and machinery. The space inside is full of heavy equipment, spare parts, and drawers full of bolts and bits. It isn’t the most organized place in the world, but we know where every single item is kept. Most of our day is spent talking to local mechanics or factory guys who need a specific part to keep their own machines running. We don’t do any big advertising or have a polished showroom. It’s just a place for people who know what they are looking for. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on G.S.T. Road, which can be frustrating, but we just manage as best as we can. We have a small crew here, and we’ve all been doing this for years. It’s steady work. We don’t have any grand plans to change things up. We just want to keep the shelves stocked and help the people who come through the door. It’s a practical business for a practical neighborhood, and we are happy to just keep it going like this for as long as we can.
