Greentatwa Agri-Tech Llp is over at New No 18, which used to be Old No 23, on Murali Street in Mahalingapuram. This is a fairly quiet part of Chennai, which we like. The office is in a residential-feeling area, so it does not feel like you are in a cold, grey business district. We have been here for a bit, and the building has its own quirks, like the door that sticks when it rains. As an agri-tech company, people might expect us to have robots or something, but it is really just us using whatever tools we can to help make farming a bit more predictable. We spend a lot of time looking at data but we also make sure to stay connected to the actual earth. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and small equipment. We are not the type to wear suits; usually, it is just jeans and shirts because we might have to head out to a field at a moment's notice. Murali Street is a nice place to walk during lunch to clear your head. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone trying to sell you a dream. We just do the work, look at the results, and try to improve things for the next season. It is a small team of us here in Chennai, just trying to make sense of the intersection between technology and the dirt.
