We’ve been here in Royapettah at number 24 for a good while now. It’s right near the Hotel Grand Palace, so if you know that spot, you know where we are. Dealing with agricultural supplies isn't always pretty, but it’s what we do day in and day out. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with bags and equipment, but that is just how it goes when you’re busy. We handle a lot of different things for the local farmers and folks who just have a bit of land to tend. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy sacks and making sure everything is counted right before it goes out. People come in mostly looking for things that actually work, not stuff that looks fancy on a shelf. We keep the doors open early because the sun doesn't wait for anyone in this business. My hands are usually a bit dirty by noon, but that’s fine. It’s a practical life. We talk to a lot of the same people every week. They tell us about their crops and the weather, which is really what matters around here. We don't have a big fancy office or anything, just the shop and the stuff we sell. It’s straightforward. Most days are long, but seeing someone get what they need for their field makes it alright. We just try to keep things moving and stay helpful.
