Greenline Engineering

We are located at 16/27 on Ambal Nagar Main Road in Ekkatuthangal. It’s a busy street, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get through the traffic. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. Most days, I can hear the buses and bikes zooming past while I’m sitting at the back table. Greenline Engineering has been here for a while, and the neighborhood knows us. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of materials stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris just to move a heavy piece from one side to the other. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the workspace and find one of us. We talk about what needs to be done while standing around the machines. The light in the afternoons hits the front of the shop quite hard, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in Chennai. We just want to finish the work that’s on the floor today so we can start fresh tomorrow. The local tea shop delivers to us twice a day, which is something everyone looks forward to. It’s a simple life here in Ekkatuthangal, just working hard and keeping things moving along.
