MM Solar Power Engineers is located at 14/8 on 92nd Street in Ashok Nagar. We’re right near 18th Avenue, which is usually packed with cars and scooters. It’s a typical Chennai neighborhood where everyone knows each other. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a room where we keep our blueprints and solar equipment. We spend most of our mornings planning out installations and the afternoons out on people's rooftops. Solar energy is what we know, and we’ve been at it for a long time. We aren't interested in making big speeches about the future; we just want to make sure the panels we put up don't blow away in a storm. The office is often a bit messy with cables and tools, but that’s just the nature of the job. We have a small team of engineers who have been with us since we started. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because most of our work comes from neighbors telling other neighbors about us. It’s a steady pace of work. We usually stop for a coffee at the small shop on the corner in the evenings. It’s a good community here in Ashok Nagar, and we’ve settled in nicely over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical side of things, making sure the wiring is right and the customers are satisfied with the power they’re getting.
