Pattu Thermal Engineering

You can find Pattu Thermal Engineering over at No: 33 in the Sidco Industrial Area in Guindy. It’s a typical industrial setting with lots of workshops and warehouses around us. We’ve been operating from this unit for quite some time now. The work we do involves a lot of heat and metal, so the shop floor is usually pretty warm throughout the day. We have various tools and machinery spread out, and it’s never really quiet when the machines are running. Guindy is a central spot, which helps with getting supplies in and out, though the traffic around Sidco can be a real headache in the evenings. Our team is small and we mostly focus on the technical side of the projects. We aren't really the type to sit in front of computers all day; we prefer being hands-on with the equipment. There are always blueprints lying around and bits of metal shavings on the concrete floor. It’s a practical workspace designed for engineering work, not for showing off to visitors. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about how the different jobs are coming along. Sometimes things don’t go exactly to plan, and we have to spend extra hours figuring out a solution. That’s just part of the job. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by people doing similar hard work, which feels right. We just keep doing what we do at unit 33.
