Our office is located in Parry House on Moore Street, specifically on the 5th floor. Parrys Corner is one of those places that never really stops moving. The streets are narrow, and there’s always someone selling something or a truck trying to make a delivery. Getting to work in the morning is a bit of a chore because of the crowds, but you get used to it after a few years. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of old paper and stone. We work on pollution control systems, which means a lot of technical drawings and checking regulations. The 5th floor isn't the highest, but it’s far enough from the street noise that we can actually hear ourselves think. We have a few old wooden cabinets and desks that have been here since we moved in. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us who know the industry well. We aren't a corporate giant with a PR department. We’re just regular people who know a lot about filters and emissions. Sometimes the elevator in Parry House acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout. We usually stay until the sun goes down and the traffic outside starts to thin out a bit. It’s a solid place to work, and we like being right in the heart of the old city.
