GRANDBLUE PROJECTS PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office is down at No. 12, Saravana Nagar, in Hanuman Colony, which is part of Injambakkam in Chennai. GRANDBLUE PROJECTS PRIVATE LIMITED is the name we have on the gate. It is a bit further out from the city center, so it feels a little more peaceful than the crowded streets of T. Nagar or Parry’s Corner. We are close enough to the sea that you can sometimes feel a bit of a breeze, although it is still quite hot most of the year. The office is basically a converted house, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it. We have our desks set up in the main room, and there is a smaller room in the back where we keep all the supplies. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever isn't on the phone just goes to see who it is. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors on the phone. There is usually a stack of site helmets near the door because we are always going out to check on things. We have a small kitchen where we make tea a few times a day. It’s a very hands-on way to work, and we don't worry too much about looking like a big corporate firm. We just want to make sure the work is done right and the projects keep moving forward. It’s a decent place to spend our working hours.
