Usha Metal

Usha Metal has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The address is a bit confusing because of the change from Old No. 53 to New No. 109, but most people who know us find their way here eventually. It’s a loud place. Dealing with metal means there is always some kind of noise in the background, whether it’s clanging or just the sound of heavy things being moved around. It’s definitely not a showroom. It’s a workshop where things get done. We have stacks of stuff everywhere, and the floors are never really clean, but that’s just the nature of this kind of work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some businesses come and go, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s dusty and hot in the summer, but we just keep at it. People come to us when they need something specific, and we try to get it sorted without too much fuss or extra talk. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy at that moment. It’s a straightforward way of doing business that we prefer. We aren't much for small talk or long emails. If you need metal work done, you just come by the shop and we see what we can do. It’s worked for us so far, and we don't plan on changing much. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains hard.
