Gopal Sheets Pvt. Ltd. is located over at B-47 in the Jhilmil Indl. Area of Shahdara. If you know the Jhilmil area, you know it’s a place where everyone is always working on something. The streets are narrow and can get blocked up with delivery trucks quite easily. Our spot at B-47 is a bit back from the main road, which is nice because it’s a little less noisy. The building is a brick structure that’s been around for quite some time. We have a heavy metal door at the entrance that squeaks every time someone opens it. Inside, it’s mostly open space where we keep our supplies and the machinery. Shahdara can get very hot in the summer, and the Jhilmil area feels even hotter with all the buildings so close together. We have some large exhaust fans that help a bit, but it’s still a sweaty job most days. There’s a small corner where we keep our personal stuff and take our tea breaks. The guys usually talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s a tight-knit group here, and we’ve all been working together for a good while. The day starts early before the sun gets too high and we try to get the heavy stuff done first. It’s just a plain, hardworking environment without any extra frills or fancy stuff.
