Up on the third floor at 218/225 Thambu Chetty Street is where Golden Star Logistics operates. It is one of those busy buildings where everyone always seems to be in a big hurry. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a workout every single day since we usually take the stairs instead of waiting. The street down below is always crowded with people and goods being moved around on carts. Our office is a simple, no-nonsense space. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything modern; it is mostly just metal desks, filing cabinets, and a few old chairs for guests. We handle a lot of logistics work here, which means there is always a bit of chaos with papers and phone calls. The air in the office usually smells like old paper and the tea we make in the afternoons. We have a small team and we all just pitch in where needed to get the job finished. Thambu Chetty Street is a great place to be if you are in this line of work because everyone around here is doing something similar. It feels like a real community of traders and shippers. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets a bit slow, but we just deal with it and keep going. We don’t have a big marketing department. We just do our jobs.
