Gemma Habitats

Gemma Habitats is located at 102/1 Royapettah High Road. Royapettah is one of those old parts of Chennai that never seems to sleep. There are shops everywhere, and the noise from the street is constant. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It’s an old building, so the stairs are a bit steep and the rooms aren't perfectly square, but it has a lot of character. We don’t really go for the polished, modern look. We have our files stacked up and the walls are a bit faded, but it works for us. Working on Royapettah High Road means there is always somewhere to get a quick coffee or a snack, which is one of the perks. The traffic outside is usually a mess, especially during the middle of the day, so we mostly stay inside and focus on our projects. We’ve got a small crew here. Everyone knows what they’re supposed to do, so we don't need a lot of meetings or managers hovering over us. We just handle the habitat side of things and keep our heads down. It’s a busy place to be, but we wouldn’t want to be in some sterile office park far away from the city. Here, you feel like you’re actually in Chennai. It’s real and it’s a bit messy, just like the work we do every day. We usually wrap things up by six.
