Our office and workshop are down in Chennai, specifically in the Self Help Industrial Estate. It’s one of those places in Tamil Nadu where everyone is busy making something. The heat can be a lot sometimes, but we have the fans going and we just keep working. We do automation stuff here. That means a lot of wires, control panels, and people staring at screens or circuit boards. It’s a different kind of work than heavy machining, but it still gets your hands full. The industrial estate is a good community. We know the guys in the units next to us. We aren't a big corporate entity with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller team that knows how to put these systems together. Our workspace is filled with components, manuals, and half-finished projects. It’s not always the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. We just focus on the task at hand. When a system finally works right, it’s a good feeling. We take our breaks, talk about the cricket scores, and then get back to the wiring. It’s just what we do. We’ve been in Chennai for a while now and the industrial estate feels like home. We’re just regular people trying to make technology work for our customers without making a big deal about it. We stay late if we have to, especially when a deadline is coming up.
