Galaxy Micro Technology

We are located over in Choolaimedu. The address can be a little bit confusing for people who haven't been here before because it has both an old number, 76, and a new number, 62. We are on 1st Street in Thiruvalluver Puram. Our shop, Galaxy Micro Technology, is a small place dedicated to fixing electronics and micro-tech stuff. It is usually quite crowded inside because we have workbenches covered in tools, magnifying glasses, and tiny components that are hard to see. It smells a bit like solder and dust, which is pretty much what you would expect from a repair shop. We don't have a fancy storefront with big glass windows. It's just a regular door that stays open during the day. We have lived and worked in this part of Chennai for a long time. The street is narrow and can get pretty busy with scooters and people walking by. We know most of our neighbors. We don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. Most people find us because a friend told them we could fix their broken gadgets. We just enjoy the challenge of taking something apart and figuring out why it stopped working. It takes a lot of patience and steady hands. We aren't looking to expand into a big chain. We like our little spot here in Choolaimedu just fine. It’s hard work but satisfying.
