Foot & Inches

We've been over here in Ashok Nagar for a while now, tucked away near Kasi Theatre in Vasudevan Nagar. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Foot & Inches is mostly just us working through projects every day. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with drawings and tape measures lying around, but that's just how it goes when you're busy. We deal with spaces, trying to make things fit where they need to. People usually find us by looking for the theatre first. It’s easier that way. We don't have a big fancy reception or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we sit down and figure out what needs doing. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and talking to people about their rooms. If you walk in, you might see us on the phone or sketching something out on a scrap of paper. Chennai weather gets hot, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we work. It isn't a huge operation, just a local team doing the work. We try to keep things straightforward. If something won't work, we just say so. No point in making things more complicated than they are. We've seen a lot of changes around this part of Chennai over the years.
