Our place, Eriez Mbe India Limited, is located at 62/14, M.G.R. Salai in Nagalkeni, Chromepet. It’s an area with a lot of history and we’ve become a part of the local landscape over time. The building itself is practical, designed to handle the heavy components and equipment we deal with every day. Inside, it’s a mix of office space and the actual shop floor where the real work happens. We spend a lot of time looking at specifications and making sure everything aligns with what the client asked for. Chromepet is a good location for us because of the access to transport, though the traffic on M.G.R. Salai can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. We have a team of people who have been with us for years, so everyone knows their role without needing to be told much. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment; it feels more like a place where people show up, do their jobs, and share a few jokes during the breaks. We have a lot of storage for raw materials because you never know when a specific type of metal or part will be needed. The walls are a bit scuffed and the floors have seen better days, but that’s just what happens when you’re actually working. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized amid all the heavy machinery and iron.
