Our office is in the basement of Honey Dew Apartments. It's located at 60, 5Th Cross Street in Trustpuram. Kodambakkam is a busy area, but our spot is a bit quieter since we are downstairs. Empire Shelters & Spaces Pvt. Ltd. is the name on the door, but we mostly just call it the office. It can get a little cool in the basement which is nice when it’s hot outside. We spend most of our time here dealing with different spaces and shelters. There is always something to do. The stairs leading down are a bit steep. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. Trustpuram has a lot of little streets like 5th Cross. People sometimes miss the turn if they aren't looking. We have our desks set up and some old filing cabinets. It’s not a shiny corporate building. Just a practical workspace in a residential apartment block. We see the residents of Honey Dew Apartments coming and going throughout the day. Kodambakkam has its own rhythm and we are part of it. Sometimes the rain makes things interesting around the entrance. We just keep working through it. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just handle the business of Empire Shelters & Spaces Pvt. Ltd. from this basement. It works for us. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take breaks. Life is pretty steady here in Trustpuram. We know the local shortcuts and the best times to avoid the traffic.
