Elmech Engineering And Contracting Pvt. Ltd. is located in the Mugappair West area. To be exact, we are at 138Hig Phase 1 in Nolambur. We take up the first floor on 4th Main Road, right at the corner where it meets 10th Cross Street. It is a residential-turned-commercial kind of neighborhood. You see a lot of family houses mixed in with small offices like ours. Being on the first floor is fine, though carrying heavy equipment or bundles of plans up those stairs can be a bit of a workout. We have been in this part of Chennai for a good amount of time. The area is fairly quiet compared to the center of the city, which helps us focus. We spend our mornings going over different project plans and checking on how the crews are doing. There is usually a lot of paper scattered around our desks because of the engineering work we do. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone to greet you; usually, you just walk in and find one of us sitting at a table. The 4th Main Road gets a bit crowded when the local schools let out, but otherwise, it is easy to get to us. We use the 10th Cross Street for parking our vehicles mostly. It is a very practical setup for a contracting firm. We don't have fancy furniture, just old desks and plenty of folders. It is just about coordination between the office and the sites. We keep our heads down and get the engineering jobs sorted.
