We are based in Laxmi Towers, which is located at number 9353 on Arcot Road in Kodambakkam. Our office is on the second floor, in unit number six. It’s a busy building in a very busy part of Chennai. If you’ve ever tried to drive down Arcot Road in the evening, you know exactly what the traffic is like. The office itself is nothing out of the ordinary. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that are probably too full, and a small area where we can sit and have a cup of tea. It’s a functional space where we handle all the administrative stuff and coordinate with our clients. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. The walls are a plain off-white and we have a few calendars hanging up to keep track of the weeks. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of service, so we get a bit of exercise walking up to the second floor. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or modern art. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the paperwork and the phone calls. We like the neighborhood because there are plenty of small places to grab a quick meal nearby. It’s a practical spot for a business like ours to operate from day to day.
