Our office is located at No 208 on the second floor of the building. It’s a quiet enough place once you get past the stairs. Domex Business Information has been here for a while, and the space is filled with old files and desks that have been moved around too many times. We deal with a lot of data and information, so most of our day is spent sitting in front of screens. It’s not very exciting to look at, but there’s a lot of thinking going on. The second floor gets a decent amount of light in the afternoon, which helps keep the mood up. We don't have a lot of visitors, so the place stays mostly organized in its own messy way. Our tea breaks are the highlight of the day, usually around 4 PM when we all stop for ten minutes. The building itself is old, so the elevator is a bit cranky, and most of us just take the stairs anyway. We handle everything ourselves, from answering the phones to fixing the printer when it jams. It’s a small group of us, and we’ve grown used to each other's habits over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get the work done right and go home to our families. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We've stayed in this same spot through plenty of changes in the city.
