Dhakshan Power Engineering

You can find us over on Bharathi Street, at number 354. We’re in Ganamoorthy Nagar, which is part of the bigger Ambattur area. We handle a lot of power engineering stuff here. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly, we are looking at motors or fixing up electrical panels that have stopped working. The shop is filled with wires and testers. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We’ve been in this building for several years now. It’s not a corporate office. It’s just a place where we work. We have shelves full of old parts we might need someday. My neighbor often stops by to chat while we are testing a circuit. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones professionally. Usually, if the phone rings, I just wipe my hands and pick it up myself. We take things slow and make sure the wiring is right. Electricity isn't something you want to rush. The lights in the shop flicker sometimes when we’re testing heavy equipment, which always makes us laugh. It’s a local operation. We know the people on our street and they know us. We just keep the doors open and do the repairs as they come through the door. It is a lot of troubleshooting and checking diagrams, but we enjoy the challenge.
