Our place is located at 296 Rajiv Gandhi Salai, which most people just call OMR, in Sholinganallur. It’s a big, busy road with a lot of IT parks and industrial buildings. Danfoss Industries has been part of this landscape for a long time. The office and workspace here are pretty straightforward. We have a lot of people coming in and out, from technicians to managers. It’s a large building, and sometimes it feels a bit like a maze if you aren't used to it. We deal with a lot of industrial components and systems, so there’s always something technical being discussed. It isn't the kind of place where things stay still for long. There’s always a truck arriving or someone heading out to a site. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because of the Chennai heat. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for lunch, and that’s usually where you hear the real news about what’s happening in the company. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the machines and the orders that need to go out. The traffic on OMR can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up and head out before the rush starts, but it doesn't always work out that way.
