Deccan Tracks

Our place is located at 81/A on Pillaiyar Koil Street. If you’ve ever been through Jafferkhanpet, you know the streets can get a bit tight and crowded. Deccan Tracks has been operating out of this spot for a while. We spend most of our time dealing with parts and looking at inventory. It’s not the quietest street in Chennai, especially with the temple nearby and the usual traffic moving through. The building is older, but it serves the purpose. We have a few desks and a lot of boxes stacked up in the back. Usually, there’s a bit of tea being made in the corner and someone talking on the phone about a delivery. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure things get where they need to go. We aren’t really into big presentations or anything corporate. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes we have to move stuff around just to make room to walk. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how a working shop looks. The neighbors are mostly families and other small businesses, so we all know each other's faces. We’ve seen the seasons change from this window for a long time. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in this corner of the city. We keep the doors open and get on with it. We like the local vibe of Jafferkhanpet and how everyone knows everyone.
