DAAV PAVERS AND BLOCKS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

Daav Pavers and Blocks (OPC) Private Limited is tucked away in the Vallam Vadakal SIPCOT industrial area. Specifically, we’re at Plot No. 5 on the First Cross Street. Being in a SIPCOT zone means we are surrounded by factories and heavy trucks all day long. It’s a loud, dusty environment, but it’s the right place for making pavers and concrete blocks. We have our machinery set up to handle the mixing and molding. It’s physical work and the sun can be brutal out here in Vallam Vadakal. Our office is just a small room off to the side of the main production area. It’s where we keep the orders and talk to the drivers. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see our blocks, they usually just walk out to the yard where everything is stacked up. We’re an OPC, so it’s a pretty tight operation with just a few of us running the show. We focus on making sure the blocks are solid and the dimensions are right. There’s no point in making something that’s going to crack in a week. We spend a lot of time moving heavy pallets around. It’s not glamorous, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished stack of pavers ready for a new road or driveway. We just stay here in our corner of the SIPCOT and keep working day in and day out.
